The Malta Trust Foundation is looking to engage a Project Assistant for Programm Tbissima on a full-time basis.

The responsibilities of the Project Assistant include:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate non-formal educational activities for children and young people aged 6-11 and 12-18 to ensure they remain engaged and motivated.
- Structure project activities and create monthly plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Actively participate in project activities and encourage young people to attend and engage in sessions.
- Assist the project coordinator in the management of participant recruitment, retention, attendance, and fostering family engagement.
- In collaboration with the Project Coordinator, implement monitoring and evaluation (M&E) tools to assess program progress and achievements.
- Complete Health & Safety documentation (Accident Forms, Incident Forms, etc.) as required.
- Provide support and guidance to volunteers as needed.
- Organize outreach activities in coordination with the Project Coordinator.
- Build and maintain partnerships with the project locality, schools, and other organizations to ensure effective collaboration.
Job Requirements:
- A degree in relevant fields such as psychology, education, and social sciences or a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional work experience.
- Teaching certification and experience in youth education is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken Maltese and English.
- Proven ability to achieve goals and work effectively with individuals at all levels in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in using databases and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Terms of service
- The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week on a full-time basis.
- The service may be required between Monday and Friday, with flexibility to work in the evening and/or Saturday.
- The candidate will be offered an employment agreement with The Malta Trust Foundation for one year, renewable based on performance.
